Every month on the first Friday of each month at 6:30pm at the Madelyn Helling Library community room Nevada County Mutual Aid hosts its monthly community meeting. These meetings discuss projects for the future, recaps from each NCMA team, and community discussion. These meetings are all open to all, and masks are required, with them being provided. If you are unable to attend in person there is a zoom option, to obtain that link either email nevadacountymutualaid@gmail.com or message @ncmutualaid on instagram. Along with the meeting, 30 minutes before the actual meeting starts there is a community potluck table outside of the library community room which is open for all to contribute to and take from. If you do plan on contributing to the potluck table we ask that you please provide an ingredient list, so that people know what foods to avoid should they have dietary restrictions. Also at the meeting is a community resource table which has COVID tests, masks, narcan, fentanyl testing strips, a CHIRP donation jar, and any other community resources that might be needed.
