Extend your skills – after completion of both Basic Community Workshop and Advanced Workshop.  Join the teams that facilitate building Peaceful Communities. These are outcomes you can expect from this AVP workshop.  Our workshops used shared experience of participants through interactive exercises and games to examine ways we respond to situations where injustice, prejudice, frustration, and anger can lead to aggressive words and behavior.

AVP is a multicultural, all volunteer organization found in most states and fifty countries, offering experiential, fun workshops in communities, schools and prisons. Facilitators learn with participants. There are no teachers. Learn more on Facebook page Alternatives To Violence Project (AVP) Nevada County.
