The Nevada County Chapter of Health Care for All will be busy in January.
It’s a new year and a new legislative session for the CA State Legislature. We are a group of volunteers working to bring universal health care to all Californians. We support the Healthy California Act, SB 562, which will establish comprehensive health care for us all while saving us and the state money. It is stalled in the CA Assembly.
We need to get the bill out of the rules committee to begin the process of completing and passing it. If you ever dreamed of having high quality, truly affordable healthcare, now is the time to get involved to help make it happen for yourself and for our community.
Our January meeting will be on Sat., Jan. 27th. 11am at the UUCommunity of the Mountains 246 S. Church St. in Grass Valley. Come find out how you can help at any level of commitment. Newcomers are always welcome.
