In the late 1990’s, the Argentinian government allowed Monsanto to provide genetically modified seed and glyphosphate herbicide to farmers in the Misiones Province who to grow tobacco.  These early experiments were made without proper safety and effectiveness studies.  As use of Monsanto products has increased, so has ill-health and birth defects in children.

There will also be a showing of “Seeding Fear”, a 10 minute short which tells the story of Michael White, a farmer who took Monsanto to court.

Suggested donation, $10.  Popcorm and beverages provided.
