A Community Workshop

by Alternatives To Violence Project

WANT BETTER RELATIONSHIPS with yourself and others, a deeper sense of community, and a more peaceful life? These are outcomes you can expect from this workshop.  AVP is a multicultural, all volunteer organization found in most states and fifty countries, offering experiential, fun workshops in communities and prisons.

Learn more on line at avpcalifornia.org.

AVP offers a Basic Workshop, Advanced Workshops, and a Training for Facilitators. You may become a facilitator by taking these workshops. Teams of facilitators in Nevada County put on workshops in the community, at a local continuation school, the Roseville jail, a nearby conservation camp, and state prisons. Facilitators find this work extremely satisfying and continue to grow in conflict resolution skills and self awareness.
