Sunrise Movement is a national youth led climate organization focused on mobilizing the younger generations in the fight against climate change. Nevada County has a local branch of Sunrise Movement that meets every other Monday online. In October there are two meetings, one on the 9th, and one on the 23rd. These meetings are open to all and even though the movement is focused on the younger generations people of any ages are welcome to join the meetings.
