Local author, Hilary Emberton, has recently published a book, An Invitation to Travel. Sixty photographs from fifty-six countries are paired with a commentary taking you on a pictorial journey around the globe. Her journeys have given her a unique perspective of the varied cultures throughout the world.

The talk will be a narrative of her background, how she came to travel through eighty-two countries, and how her traveling developed and changed as time progressed.

Photos and stories from her book and a Q&A session will be included. Admission by donation for Nevada County Habitat for Humanity and The International Rescue Committee.
