The public is invited to attend the second general meeting of the newly formed Sierra Nevada Chapter of the ACLU.

The ACLU is a non-political organization that does not back candidates from any party, but seeks to form relationships with members from all sides. Whether you are conservative, liberal or somewhere in between, the ACLU has your back. With input from the public our newly formed Northern Sierra Chapter we will be focusing on the following issues: Privacy and Surveillance, Drug Policy Reform, Women’s Equality, Police Militarization, and Americans with Disabilities issues. The ACLU seeks to form a collaborative partnership with citizens and local officials by opening dialogues over issues of concern and seeking reasonable solutions together.aclu 1
