Heist Who Stole

Heist (2011)  reveals how American corporations orchestrated the dismantling of middle-class prosperity through rampant deregulation, the outsourcing of jobs, and tax policies favoring businesses and the wealthy. The predicament the US finds itself in these times is the result of conscious choices made over thirty five years by a small group of leaders of corporations and their elected allies, and the biggest lobbying interest in Washington, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. To these individuals, the collapse is not a catastrophe, but rather the planned outcome for a global economy ruled by corporations.  For the rest of the country, it is merely the biggest heist in American history.

Produced and directed by Donald Goldmacher, a longtime filmmaker, labor advocate, activist, and psychiatrist with decades of experience observing, documenting and participating in social change.

Come enjoy the film, and stay for the lively discussion to follow. $5.00-$10.00 suggested donations (no one turned away) Hot tea and treats available.  For more information visit Heist The Movie .
