The Sierra College Nevada County Campus invites the community to join in the celebration of Earth Day. The campus will be abuzz with all things green! Students, faculty, local businesses and non-profit organizations will present environmental, humanitarian and educational exhibits. Live music, poetry readings, and dance promise to entertain and educate all those who join in this fun and free celebration of planet Earth—humanity’s only home. The Sierra College District has faithfully celebrated Earth Day each year since its official world-wide inauguration in April of 1970.

We encourage visitors to consider walking, riding a bike, riding the bus, or carpooling to the event to help us reduce carbon emissions and save the $3 parking fee. Use that money instead towards the purchase of some delicious and healthy food options that will be available, like Calla Lily Crepes, and others.
