Hi everyone,

Thank you to all those who came out to the recent DSA social hour at the Grass Valley Kombuchery. It was great to see everybody!

It is soon the first Thursday of the month, which means the Grass Valley / Nevada City working group monthly meeting is coming up at the Nevada County Library, 6PM (details below).  

Thursday, March 5, from 6:00–8:00 PM.

Location: Madelyn Helling Library (Gene Albaugh Community Room)

Below is our current draft agenda:

1. Recap chapterwide meeting held Tues 3/3/26.  

2. Hear reports from the 4 working groups (reports can be in various stages of development)

   1. Membership outreach 

   2. BDS/Palestine 

   3. Political Education 

   4. Elections and endorsements  

3. We will also discuss 

   1. organizing news around the state and country, including how comrades are organizing around ICE resistance, electoral politics, tax policy and a lot more

   2. tabling for DSA at No Kings, and at future events & key locations, especially Sierra College and other local colleges

4. For those of you interested in service positions, we will reserve some time for discussion of chapter elections to be held at our next chapterwide monthly meeting.

We plan to leave a lot of room for discussion and sharing of ideas on all topics
