1. Tell the Nevada County Board of Supervisors we reject ICE.
We need to jump on this opportunity to let our local leaders we do not want ICE in our communities. California’s sanctuary laws are not enough. We need local leaders willing to act with courage — to make visible commitments and to stand with every member of our community. Moral leadership means standing up, especially when it’s hard. This is our home – our families, our friends, and our neighbors. In the face of authoritarian rule, we must stand united to protect one another.
- Sign the petition that will be given to the Board of Supervisors (BOS)
- Volunteer to help with obtaining signatures in our community.
- Stay tuned for news about writing letters/emails to the BOS and showing up to their meetings.
